Homeless Campaign in association with HARP

Southend BID have funded a campaign and educational booklet on how best to help with homelessness in Southend in partnership with Southend’s homeless charity, HARP and includes tear-off cards to be given to individuals to use at HARP in order to encourage service user engagement.

Launched yesterday at an outreach day held at Victoria Circus and attended by local Councillors, politicians and charities and has received extensive press coverage and positive feedback and engagement with members of the public, as well as providing an education on how the problem with rough sleeping can be made larger if their help is not offered in the correct way.

The guide will be distributed throughout the town centre and available to view and download here.
