As part of a series of new initiatives introduces by Southend BID, the twenty-one ballot bins designed specifically to discard of cigarette ends in a slot of choice, have been installed across the High Street and seafront. The use of a series of innovative and exciting apparatus is a project not previously been adopted in the area.
The containers are BID branded and brightly coloured for maximum visibility and presence and have became a topic of conversation in town and across social media. Jamie Oliver famously featured Pier Piazza’s bin as part of his Instagram story. The campaign will also be featured in a promotional film to further endorse the project.
It comes as just one of three initiatives introduced by us to improve and focus on tackling anti-littering, cleansing and the environment of Southend-on-Sea. #neatstreets
