Southend Cocktail Week returns this Autumn

Southend City BID are delighted to announce the return of Southend Cocktail week this October.

Southend Cocktail Week returns this Autumn with a ten day self guided trail that will leave your taste buds tingling. Running from Friday 20th - Sunday 29th October 2023, this is a great opportunity for cocktail lovers to sample tantalizing signature cocktails, bag some cocktail deals, and enjoy events in a variety of venues in Southend.


Suzanne Gloyne, Manager at Southend City BID says: “I’m thrilled that we’re able to bring Southend Cocktail Week back to the city centre. It encourages residents and visitors to try new drinks whilst highlighting some of the fantastic venues we have in the city.


“With the event running for a ten day period it gives you plenty of opportunity to try the cocktails at each of our participating venues. With different events on in the period such as Switch’s Halloween Fun Fair, the Halloween Psychic Night at The IronWorks, or The Royal Hotel’s Tales From The Shadows, there’s no excuse not to make a night of it!


There are over 10 fantastic venues signed up and ready to serve customers their

signature cocktails or promotions. These include a Vampire’s Kiss from Grosvenor Casino on Church Road, a Take A Chance from Switch on Queens Road, and a rum based The Zombie from The Slug and Lettuce on Southchurch Road. Other destinations taking part in Southend Cocktail Week include The Royal Hotel, The IronWorks, The Alex, Park Inn Plaza Hotel, Molo Lounge, Genting Casino, Caddies, Brickhouse, Annie’s Attic.

The city centre has proudly held the

award for ten years, an award which celebrates areas with a safe and diverse night life so head along and join the trail for a perfect way to explore our venues and make a night of city centre events including the Seafront Fireworks or Halloween parade.
