We are excited to announce the launch of the brand new ‘Totally Locally Southend-On-Sea’ website this week. ‘Totally Locally’ has been created to support and promote local independent businesses, with their products and services being incorporated into one savvy online shop. As a result, local shoppers can now browse and buy online from a variety of trusted businesses across the borough of Southend-on-Sea, checking out from multiple outlets with one easy payment. Meanwhile, ‘click and collect’ options are available for those who live nearby. For customers who are apprehensive to once again return to the shops post-pandemic, and those who simply prefer the ease of online shopping, Totally Locally is an ideal solution. We are delighted to say that supporting the local business community is now easier than ever.
We are confident that Totally Locally will support the recovery of Southend-on-Sea’s retail sector after a difficult year amid Coronavirus restrictions. The platform will extend businesses’ reach, connecting them with a wider pool of customers who are committed to shopping locally and investing back into the Southend-on-Sea community.
Shoppers can currently find a wonderful range of products on the Totally Locally website, including clothing, homeware and fresh foods from local eateries and bakeries; we are proud to have helped launch this platform to showcase Southend-on-Sea’s unique collection of entrepreneurs and are thrilled that their products are now within easy reach for customers. Totally Locally is modernising local shopping within the area, whilst supporting our gradual return to ‘normality’ as restrictions ease. It’s important that we remain vigilant, patient and slowly return to stores; being able to access our favourite local spots online will make this much more achievable.
If you’re hoping to support your local businesses, visit southendonsea.totallylocally.shop to explore our exciting variety of local products. Meanwhile, continue following official restriction guidelines and remember to be patient with local retail staff as they adapt having only recently re-opened their doors. Our ‘Open for Business, Closed for Crime’ initiative is in place to highlight this message; violence towards retail staff will not be tolerated.
