TOYS ‘N’ TUCK Confirmed as GOLD Sponsors for This Year’s Magical Event!
Southend City BID is delighted to unveil Toys 'N' Tuck as the GOLD sponsors for this year’s highly anticipated Southend Christmas Switch On Extravaganza, set to take place on the 18th November. The event, a beloved tradition in the heart of Southend, promises a day of enchantment, entertainment, and festive spirit for the whole family.
The event will showcase an eclectic mix of local talent, including flamenco dancers, a lively Ceilidh band, and the debut performance of The Ironworks Youth Theatre. Adding to the vibrant atmosphere, the sound of steel Caribbean drums will fill the air, ensuring an unforgettable experience for all attendees.
The day will crescendo with a heart warming festive sing-along, complete with lyrics displayed on a big screen, setting the stage for the grand Christmas lights switch-on. The evening will finish in a spectacular seafront firework display, marking the beginning of Southend's iconic winter celebrations.
Emma Dadswell, Company Director of Toys 'N' Tuck:
“We at Toys ‘N’ Tuck are all so very pleased to be able to sponsor this year's light switch on event. As an independent business within the city centre it is really important to us to be involved and give back to the local community who continually support us all year round. As a toy shop we are lucky to have lots of local regular customers and we know how essential events like this are to making special memories with their whole families. This event really is the perfect one for us to be a part of as we love nothing more than sharing in the magic of Christmas.”
Suzanne Gloyne, Manager of Southend City BID, expressed her excitement of having Toys ‘n’ Tuck on board for the event, stating:
"We are thrilled that Emma and the team from Toys ‘n’ Tuck are our headline sponsors this year, they are a fantastic toy shop with a wide range of products and great customer service. We do have a number of other sponsorship opportunities available – if your business is interested then do get in touch."
